Celebrations, Masks, and their Creation

Ca’ Macana opens the doors of its workshop to unveil the extraordinary story of ancient carnival traditions and the technique of mask making. Why was the Carnival so important that not even the plague could stop it? Venetians wore masks only during the Carnival, and how are authentic Venetian masks made?
