Cultural explorations – the symbolism of danger in Marco Polo’s time!
In the 13th century, fairy tales were still passed down through oral culture, and the protagonists were often animals and anthropomorphic figures. The wolf, a wild and mysterious creature, was one of the many creatures that even then symbolized danger and instilled fear.
What were Marco Polo’s fears during his explorations?
What had he learned as a child when he listened to stories and fables to face dangers?
Let’s discover together with the children, with the help of music and two friendly actors, how to face the dark, the unknown, fear itself.
