Registrations for the Festa delle Marie 2024 are now open to all girls aged 18 to 28 residing in the Metropolitan City of Venice or born in Venice, even if residing elsewhere in the country.
To apply, send an email to [email protected] with a photocopy of your identity card, two photos (one full-length and one close-up), your phone number, email address, and home address. You will also need to fill out the original coupon, which will be published in ‘Il Gazzettino’ on a date to be determined. The coupon should be delivered to the designated individuals at Scuola Grande San Giovanni Evangelista half an hour before the selection.
The selection of the 12 Maries will take place on Sunday, January 28, 2024, in collaboration with The Gazzettino, Scuola Grande San Giovanni Evangelista, and other partners supporting the event. The Festa delle Marie is a historical tradition of the Carnevale di Venezia. Young women in the Metropolitan City of Venice have a unique opportunity to become one of the Maries.
