Regata de Carneval su Mascarete a due remi

The SetteMari Association is organizing the traditional Carnival Regatta on mascarete (two-oared Venetian rowing boats) on February 23rd, 2025. The event features mixed male/female crews in costume.

This entertaining regatta in costume will sail through the Grand Canal, starting from the Basin of St. Mark and finishing at San Marcuola. As always, both boats and rowers will be in costume, and prizes will be awarded at the finish line for the best costumes!

Schedule:
– 9:15 AM  Gathering in Campo San Marcuola
– 9:30 AM  The jury reviews the crews to evaluate their costumes
– 10:00 AM  Move towards St. Mark’s Basin to the starting point
– 10:30 AM  Regatta starts in front of Ca’ Giustinian
– 10:50 AM  Finish and awards ceremony at San Marcuola
