The Venice Carnival 2026 is preparing to enchant the world with a special edition titled Olympus, celebrating the Olympic year with a theme that intertwines history, art, and sport, paying tribute to the universal power of play and challenge.

Among the most eagerly awaited events of this extraordinary celebration is The Most Beautiful Mask, which will transform St. Mark’s Square into an open-air theater.

Parade Dates

The daily parades of the competition will take place on the following dates:

• Saturday, January 31th: 12:00
• Sunday, February 1th: 16:00 and 17:15
• Saturday, February 7th: 12:00, 16:30, 18:00
• Sunday, February 8th: 16:00, 17:30
• Thursday, February 12th: 12:00, 16:00, 17:00
• Friday, February 13th: 12:00, 16:30, 18:00
• Saturday, February 14th: 12:00, 16:00, 17:30

Each round will feature unique and original masks, the result of the creativity and craftsmanship that make the Venice Carnival a one-of-a-kind event in the world.

The Final

Each day will proclaim a winner who will qualify for the final, scheduled for Sunday, February 15th at 16:30. Here, the finest masks will compete for the title of Most Beautiful Mask of the 2026 Carnival, in a crescendo of emotion and spectacle.

The Final Parade

But the fun doesn’t end there: on Shrove Tuesday, February 17th, 2026, following the proclamation of the Maria of the Year, a final special mask parade will take place at 17:00. A magical moment that will bring the 2026 edition of the Venice Carnival to a spectacular close.
