Yesterday in Ca’ Vendramin there was the choice of the 12 “Marie” of 2019 Carnival.
The jury elected the girls from the 70 candidates that were present at the event. Some of the “Marie” of last year were there to support the new ones: among them Erika Chia, 2018 winner who will be the “Angel” of “Volo dell’Angelo” on 24th February, and Micol Rossi, who won the Gazzettino newspaper’s contest last year and will be the protagonist of “Volo dell’Angelo-Guerriero”.
The girls, really moved and accompanied by relatives and friends, followed the indications of the organizer Maria Grazia Bortolato and with grace stood in front of the jury telling their stories and dreams.
The 12 “Marie” chosen are:
