A Carnival in the name of sustainability for this edition 2020. The mayor, Luigi Brugnaro, has banned the use of confetti and plastic
streamers for the duration of Carnival. You can continue to use the classic paper confetti, easier to dispose of and definitely
sustainable. There are fines, even very high, for those who transgress the ordinance.
A decision certainly shared that completes the plan already emanated from the Municipality not long ago, when in the Municipal
Directorates it has been forbidden the use of materials “disposable”, in favor of durable and compostable alternatives.
