This evening in the wonderful Sale Apollinee of the Teatro La Fenice the Maria of the year 2023 and the Maria del Gazzettino were elected!
The jury has chosen: the Maria of the year is Beatrice Raffael, and the Maria del Gazzettino Lavinia Malerba.
Beatrice Raffael, 23 years old from Venice, is the Mary of the year 2023. She is a student at Ca’Foscari, attending the master course in European Language and Literature. She studies ballet and is enrolled in a tailoring school.
The proclamation took place this evening during the Gran Gala in the Sale Apollinee of the Teatro La Fenice, attended by the President of the City Council, Ermelinda Damiano, and the Consigliere Delegato to the Protection of Traditions, Giovanni Giusto, representing the Administration.
