For this 2020 ‘s edition of the Carnival, the idea is to unite the strong rooting on the territory with the great desire of innovation. During the presentation for the international press, which took place on Thursday 6th of February, the assessor for tourism, Paola Mar, and the Communication and Events responsible for Vela Spa, Fabrizio D’Oria, take the visitors to St. Mark’s square stage, examining in depth the history and the logistical management of the event.
A rich cultural programme will be proposed together with the main events on San Marco: local institutions enriched the program with guided tours, shows and performances related to this year’s theme ‘Game, Love, Folly”.
The assessor Paola Mar says: ‘The city has completely recovered after the extraordinary high tide of 12th November and we will get confirmation with the incoming Carnival. It will be a kermesse of events which will give value to the local handcraft, with his ateliers and mask producers’. Not only in St. Mark obviously: there will be several events on the islands too, in the historical centre and on the mainland.
The Communication and Events manager for Vela Spa, Fabrizio D’Oria, presented the various events that will take place in the Square, with particular attention on the Flights from the bell tower.
