From the “Wars of the Fists” to the Italian Football Cup, won in 1941; from the regattas of all time—rowed by men and women—to the glories of Reyer and fencing; from the Carnival challenges (such as ascending and descending the bell tower of St. Mark’s or the “Labors of Hercules”) to the “futuristic” ones involving seaplanes and fast motorboats: Venice has a long sporting history, suspended between the times of the Serenissima and modernity.

Alberto Toso Fei will take the audience by the hand and lead them—during a lively meeting—through a glorious series of events, men, and women who have made the history of Venetian sport unique.
