A theatrical recital with live music featuring: Giovanna Lubjan (vocals and guitar) – Michela Mocchiutti (actress) Sound and lighting: Angelo Zanini

A theatrical and musical journey inspired by the great Italian female athletes who have made Olympic history. Real-life women who, through the fantasy of Carnival, are transformed into modern Goddesses of Olympus: mythological figures descending not from the heavens, but from the snow, the water, the track, and the platform.

The narrative voice of actress Michela Mocchiutti guides the audience through this female pantheon with a style that is ironic, poetic, and direct. Meanwhile, live music from Paduan singer-songwriter and experienced busker Giovanna Lubjan envelops the scene. Using her unmistakable voice and the creative use of a loop station, she multiplies textures and harmonies in real-time.

Each athlete embodies an “archetype of play”: speed, endurance, freedom, precision, and transformation. The athletic feat becomes a ritual, a dance, a challenge, and an act of lightness. The performance engages with the theme Olympus – At the Origins of Play: sport as a primordial celebration, a joyful competition, and a community space. Here, play is the most ancient form of freedom, and Carnival is the contemporary Olympus where anything can happen.
