Il Carnevale del Gusto 2026

From 31 January to 17 February 2026, Venice hosts the fifth edition of Carnevale del Gusto, a city-wide gastronomic journey through bacari, restaurants and historic venues, blending tradition, creativity and multicultural influences.

Inspired by the official Carnival theme “Olympus – At the Origins of the Game”, the 2026 concept takes shape with “The Flavours of the Nations”: each venue interprets a cuisine from around the world through dishes, cicchetti or desserts reimagined with a Venetian twist.
A journey through cultures and flavours celebrating history, play, tradition, creativity and multiculturalism.

From 31 January, the list of participating venues and an interactive map will be published to help visitors plan their gastronomic tour.
Tastings take place directly in the participating venues.
