Palco di Piazza San Marco
Piazza San Marco, the most elegant living room of Venice, is ready to become the heart of magic and joy during #CarnevaleVenezia2025, hosting performances and shows that will enliven the first weekend of festivities!
The stage, adorned with details inspired by this year’s theme, “The Time of Casanova“, will feature a schedule of events designed to captivate both adults and children, starting with the grand opening event on February 14th, 2025, dedicated to LOVE: Heart to Heart.
Starting Saturday, February 15th, the stage will host artists from all over Italy, performing daily from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
The audience will enjoy performances by acrobats such as Giullari di Davide Rossi and Los Filonautas, jesters like Nespolo, Luca Regina, Damiano Massacesi, and the Teatro Giullari, jugglers, and comedians, including the brilliant Edoardo Mirabella. Spectacular carnival associations will also showcase their magnificent costumes and historical dances: among them, the International Association for the Carnival of Venice, Dame & Cavalieri, Le Maschere di Mario del Settecento Veneziano, La Corte del Leon, La Compagnia del Saltarello, Nobiltà Sabauda, and international delegations with traditional masks from Slovenia, Sri Lanka, and the Philippines.

- Saturday, February 22nd, 4:00 PM: Presentation of the Marie del Carnevale
- Thursday, February 27th: The melodies of Voci di Laguna “Voga e va… canzoni tradizionali veneziane” (at 11:30 AM, 5:00 PM, and 6:30 PM)
- Monday, March 3rd, from 3:30 PM: The colorful parade of Carnevali d’Italia, in collaboration with UNPLI
- Shrove Tuesday, March 4th, 4:00 PM: Proclamation of the Maria dell’Anno
The expanded musical program! On Saturday, February 15th, Saturday, February 22nd, Thursday, February 27th, Saturday, March 1th, and Shrove Tuesday, March 4th, the festivities will extend until 8:30 PM. The piazza will come alive with vibrant rhythms, featuring performances by Penelope e i Diabolici Toupè, il Flamenco dei Soleàlma, Principe Maurice, Pitura Stail, and La Compagnia la Giostra.
