This is the typical feast for venetians and for all the guests interested in local traditions.
On Sunday 9th February at 11.00 am the water parade by Coordinamento Associazioni Remiere di Voga alla Veneta will sail along the Canal Grande to the folkloristic district of Cannaregio, where the audience will watch these unique boats and where the eno-gastronomic stalls by A.E.P.E., with the traditional carnival delicacies, will offer venetian food specialities.
Music and rhythm will accompaign the water parade.
Festa Veneziana Programme:
- from 10.15am, on Rio di Cannaregio, “Aspettando la Pantegana” with the Carnival Regattas
- 11.00 am : Water parade by Associazioni Remiere di Voga alla Veneta from Punta della Dogana to Rio di Cannaregio
- 12.00 pm: Grand Opening in Rio di Cannaregio venetian tipical food and wine offered by A.E.P.E.
An event realized in partnership with A.E.P.E. – Associazione Esercenti Pubblici Esercizi and Coordinamento Associazioni Remiere di Voga alla Veneta.
+++ SAFETY MEASURES
On the occasion of the most important events of the Venice Carnival 2020, a specific Security Plan has been prepared, which sets out for each day the security measures as well as the behavioural rules and evacuation procedures to be followed.
To attend the show, we suggest you position yourself along the Fondamenta of the Rio di Cannaregio. We recommend you arrive well ahead of time. We advise against the more crowded areas to those who have reduced mobility or use wheelchairs or pushchairs, etc. One-way routes may be set up or other modifications made to pedestrian traffic.
At the end of the parade we invite you to move away in order to allow other people to attend the next show.

!! AVM/ACTV informs that on Saturday February 8th and on Sunday February 9th 2020 the transport service on the 3, 4.1, 4.2, 5.1, 5.2 lines will be modified because of the Festa Veneziana sull’Acqua – first and second part.
To guarantee the safety of the event, the 4.1, 4.2, 5.1, 5.2 lines will stop at Sant’Alvise instead of Tre Archi: here is the communication explaining the changes in detail.
Furthermore, instead of the pedestrian path along Lista Di Spagna, Ponte delle Guglie, we inform you that from 16.00 to 23.00 on Saturday February 8th and from 9.00 to 14.00 on Sunday February 9th and until the end of the event, free access is allowed on the 1 and 2 lines only on the section between Ferrovia and San Marcuola.
