La Festa delle Marie – Il Corteo acqueo

On Saturday, February 22nd 2025, starting at 3:30 PM, there will be a water parade of gondolas featuring the 12 lucky girls selected for La Festa delle Marie, who will glide along the Grand Canal, from Santa Sofia to Piazza San Marco!
As tradition dictates, at the end of the parade on the water, the 12 Marie will be officially presented to the public on the stage in Piazza San Marco, where – at around 4:30 PM – the iconic ceremonial photo will be taken.
